X-Ray Rooms – Monaghan General Hospital
This project involved the complete strip-out and refurbishment of the X-ray room at Monaghan General Hospital. Conducted within a live hospital environment, the works included the installation of new mechanical and electrical services, along with specialized lead-lined doors, ceilings, and walls to ensure radiation protection. Additionally, a new state-of-the-art X-ray machine was installed, and the room was finished with upgraded wall and flooring materials to meet hospital hygiene and safety standards.
Antenatal Ward – Monaghan General Hospital
The Antenatal Ward project involved the full renovation and repurposing of the former Dental Ward at Monaghan General Hospital. The scope of work included the complete installation of modern mechanical and electrical services, including upgrades to the fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. The project delivered four consultant rooms, a sluice room, an examination room, a parental room, and two unisex toilets. High-quality ceilings, flooring, and partition walls were installed, and fire-rated doors were fitted to enhance safety and compliance with hospital regulations.
The quality of the completed works have been to exceptional high standards. In addition, the McGuigan Team over the last three years have shown such empathy to all Service Users in the manner in which they carried out their schedule of daily works.
