Major upgrade works

Upgrade Project

This project was carried out in three phases. The first phase involved the construction of two ASD units, a kitchen staff room, staffroom toilets, a sensory room, and a link corridor connecting to the existing school. Phase two included the construction of ASD Room Three, a link corridor, and a new state-of-the-art G.P. room with a storage room, toilets, and a servery. Phase three focused on external works such as drainage, fencing, lighting, and a 200 sq. metre tarmac play area. A soft play area was also constructed. Additionally, a new full-size football pitch with lighting and goalposts was installed.

The project was designed to enhance the school’s facilities, creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for students with ASD. The addition of specialized rooms, modern amenities, and dedicated play areas ensures that students have access to both learning and recreational spaces tailored to their needs. The upgraded infrastructure also improves connectivity within the school, while the new football pitch and outdoor areas provide valuable opportunities for physical activity and social engagement.

It is without any hesitation that I confidently highly recommend McGuigan Builders as I can witness their expertise, their efficiency, their professionalism and dedication to the highest standard of quality work and service in a respectful and trusting manner.
